This page explains what this website collects, why, and the cookies it uses. It is written to be read. Qoob Limited, Unit 1 Swallow Court, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN15 6XX is the controller of the details collected here; see qoob.com for the full agency privacy policy.

What we collect
- Order details. Your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you give one, what you ordered and the words you asked us to print.
- Account details. If you create an account: your email address, a password (stored only as a hash) and your order history.
- Qoob Dash. If you post a score: the nickname you choose and the score. Both are shown publicly on the leaderboard.
- Your design on the Build page. It is kept in your own browser so it survives a reload. It is sent to us only when you add it to the basket.
- Visit counts. Only if you allow analytics: which pages and colours people look at, through Google Analytics. Nothing you type on a Qooboid is sent to analytics.
Why we use it
- To take and show your order and run your account (our contract with you).
- To keep the shop working and secure, and to remove leaderboard entries that break the rules (our legitimate interests).
- To count visits, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie settings below.
We do not send marketing.
Who sees it
- The company that hosts this website, which stores the data on our behalf.
- PayPal, which takes your payment. We never see your card details, and PayPal’s own privacy policy applies to what you give it.
- Google, for analytics, only after you allow it. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that.
- Bugherd, which runs the small feedback tab on every page so a visitor can tell us about a problem with the page they are on. It stores an identifier in your browser for that; it does not track you across other sites.
- Nobody else. We do not sell or share your details for marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for the order and our accounts. Leaderboard entries can be removed at any time on request. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Use the form on qoob.com and a person at Qoob will deal with it. If you are unhappy with how we handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use the cookies the basket and sign-in need. With your say-so we also count visits, so we know which colours people look at. Reject is as easy as accept.
